B) FIGURE SKATING
C) Damn I need to start do Pilates again
D) The gif of his axel is mesmerizing
E) Would give anything to be able to only have to skate and workout… ideal life! (Well, maybe if I had a job in bio that wouldn’t be the case, but it is, so life.)
SP: “The Way We Were” by Barbra Streisand
LP: Boston Strong featuring music from Michael W. Smith’s “Glory”
The long program will be a tribute to Boston (where he trains, and 2014 US Nationals will be held). According to his coach and choreographer Mark Mitchell, it will tell the story of the Boston bombings earlier this year, and “also of the strength of the city they call home”.
While the program harkens to the dark day of the bombings, it really focuses on the spirit of the city and how everyone there pulled together in a time of tragedy
He will make his competitive debut of the long program at Ondrej Nepala Trophy in early October. He debuted the short this past weekend at Cranberry Open.
Also of note: Ross plans to include two quad salchows and two triple axels in his free skate, and one quad in the short.
